i am loving getting back into music videos right now. it’s like a lost art form that went the way of the cassette long box or something. way to waste paper… i feel like we have been in some sort of alternate state of life where we don’t think music ever existed to be visually expressed. it seems like we only care (about what new digital bit of 30 seconds of whatever band at the moment that’s hot) to satisfy our taste buds for a night. it’s like there’s a wall up, that in order to pass over it, you have to get through: the lead singer chick of The Pussycat Dolls, The funny Auto-Tuned Singing idiot with the Top Hat, or any Radiohead track since Hail To The Thief (sorry, I’m a Bends guy) and then you may not even want to care at that point because your ADD has distracted you to maybe play Wii or watch “Rock (Bandana) of Love: The Last Attempt to Unveil Brett’s Rock Helmet”… hey! speaking of which… why is it usually textbook dufus to say you “like the 1st 2 albums of __________ so much better than their new stuff, but it’s the opposite scenario for Radiohead? … OMFG!….. have you seen the new like, Urban Outfitters ad campaign? like, sooooooo good… it’s everything i ever wanted everyone to be/look/act like! O…….M……G.
