we put the Carol in Caroling…
last night was a blast. an eclectic bunch of friends all met at my place, Ingo made home-ade Gluwine, we drank it, and then about 30 of us crashed a neighborhood with me and Jake on Mando (not Ukulele) and 12-string. we sang a half dozen traditional standards to the top of our lungs. we crashed a formal party and they all came outside and sang with smiles as big as smiles can get. so much fun. then we ended up at our friends’ house to round out the night with tequila… woke up and took a bike ride to the beach and watched the sun come up over Palos Verdes, for what looked like a big red ball of fire at 6am this morning. beautiful. happy holidays…..
