so it’s the last installment of the 4 part series at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood tonight. no front-to-back albums from my discography… just fan-picked selections that are not on any of the last 3 records i put out. gonna be interesting because..well… how do i put this without sounding prude… there’s gonna be some songs that i don’t really enjoy anymore (thus why they were never put on records, nor played live ever) so i will compromise for you. when i play these songs, keep in mind i don’t remember all of them so i will have my little lyric book there to help. if i have to stop and start over, just cut me some slack. it’s been a busy week, my folks are in town for the holidays, and i got sick with the flu. as copy/pasted from a previous show post, some of the rules that apply for the show (and all future shows of this nature) are as follows:

*don’t yell out for me to play “That Taylor Swift Ukulele Song”.. it’s a mandolin, and i played it already a few weeks ago. no repeats. there’s a video on Youtube and it’s on my Myspaceif you wanna hear the studio version i recorded. :-)

*if you wish to have a chat with your buddy next to you, there’s a front bar in the other room that will accommodate some lively conversation. it’s just hard for me to think straight and remember song lyrics when i hear other words louder than my own while i am singing. thanks. ;-)

*as far as the set goes, bare with me because i haven’t even PLAYED some of these songs since i recorded and wrote them. so please laugh at me if i mess up… kidding..
