now watch this… Both songs written and produced by men in their 30-40’s.. exuding guiltless pleasures… one song has no singer in hotpants. the other song has no keytar player. i could go on and on about why we choose to like the latter and not the former this day and age… but for god’s sake… bring back the keytar, drum solo, jumpsuit, sax solo, modular moog synth, shag haircut, “albino chic”, flairs, TV shows dedicated to live performance videos, and the instrumental. i feel like we are turning into the movie “Idiocracy” for music… and i am part of the problem… just letting you see the shape of the tears i cry before i retire my work for the day.
