last night was a blast. an eclectic bunch of friends all met at my place, Ingo made home-ade Gluwine, we drank it, and then about 30 of us crashed a neighborhood with me and Jake on Mando (not Ukulele) and 12-string. we sang a half dozen traditional standards to the top of our lungs. we crashed a formal party and they all came outside and sang with smiles as big as smiles can get. so much fun....
Mickey Mouse beat the hell out of me last night.
That what I feel like this morning at least. Went to Disneyland yesterday and did it up. That place is a freakout for my ADD, OCD, and anxiety levels. But the Buzz Lightyear ride is pretty boss. I am kinda bummed that they changed the Pirates ride to promote Jack Sparrow. His animatronic ass was in the ride about 4 times. And its weird to see a robotic Johnny Depp… I’m gonna sound all...

Last Night... NYC
was great. i went to my friend’s Country and Western night at Cabin below Bowery Electric. this band called the Dixons fucked it up.. loved them. their pedal steel player was making me moist. i got to get up and play a few songs so that was nice. i also decided last night, in a drunken conversation, to discard the use of some long standing words in my vocabulary:

very cool to shoot with Bob Gruen. we shot at his loft that he has been in since 1974! he told me his rent then was $150 a month… jesus. i finally got to go on the rooftop of the building and shoot my quintessential “NYC in the background” shot like all of my idols that Bob shot in younger years….

Drank and discussed the politics of Weezer, touring and how Lady GaGa made a fool of er’body at the AMA’s this year.
